Color Collection
We brought the items of different colors around us to the school, put them all together, and got a color collection.
After the "Color & Pattern Hunt ", i started to do some painting and collage. →
Color Wheel
By doing the color wheel, we got a better understanding of Primary color, Secondary color and Tertiary color.
Pattern creation
According to the shape i drew before, i created some pattern using lino. I was not very satisfy with my first pattern originally, then through a series of reorganizes—cut them into small pieces，rearrange them and maybe add some more elements, it finally got a very complete pattern.
"Color walk" record
After read a lot of reference online, i started to do my own "color walk".The first site for me to observe was the London bus. Every time i go out, the bus is my priority transportation option, and i suddenly realize that i've never observed things that I use everyday. When i start to observe it, i found that the color of the bus is so comfortable for everybody.
Color mood board drawing
I tried to do some color mood boards in order to make myself get the better understanding for color.
Through the "Color walk", i took a lot of pictures on the street show a range of tones.
Samples
Then we gave each color a number, according to the new number color collection, i tried to make a few samples.
According the research, i made another 3 more sample which were relate to color, shape and texture respectively.
